I purchased these two kitchen towels sometime ago at the same estate sale where I purchased the “risqué” towel set that we recently sold! Like those towels, these had never been used and had faint storage lines and a musty smell – I have laundered, lightly starched, and ironed them and they turned out great with vivid colors! These towels are not the “new” issues that are surfacing – I have seen those and they are made of very lightweight material...

This handkerchief listing has 12 floral hankies mint condition still in the original package!

Per package, they were “made exclusively for United Dollar Stores” and are made of “fine combed cotton”. I opened package to be certain there were 12 and indeed there were!

This listing has a pair of beautiful never used pillowcases still in their original box!

They measure 19 ½” wide, 29 ½” long, and per box, they’re “Fine Embroidered Pillow Cases”.

I thought it very interesting that they are embroidered “His” and “Mrs.” instead of his and hers or Mr. and Mrs. I purchased these at an estate sale in Indiana.

Pillowcases have been laundered, lightly starched and ironed (by me) and then returned to the original box...

These pillowcases were never used and are in their original box!

Pillowcases are white with very pretty embroidered basket of flowers and a buttercup yellow bottom edge.

They measure 20 ½” wide, 29 ½” long, and per box, they’re “Fancy Embroidered Pillow Cases” and back of box box has the original price tag of $1.98 from Lerner’s Dept...

This listing has your choice of vintage nylon dress gloves! They are the same style – one pair is dark blue and is size 5, the other pair is pink and is size 4.

Both are new, never worn old store stock from a local dry goods store that closed in the early 1970’s. Gloves still have their original tags...

This listing has a super neat vintage celluloid hanky box that has been a part of my handkerchief collection for some time!

The box is in wonderful condition – it has a small chip on one corner. The interior lining has no holes or rips and appears to be original.

Box measures 5 3/8” x 5 3/8” and is 2 ½” tall.

This listing has a vintage birthday greeting card with a lovely vintage handkerchief!

The card looks like a basket of flowers and has a white hanky with a corner of lace netting flowers.

Card has “to and from” names written on inside...

Ready for gift giving or to add to a handkerchief collection, this is a clever and attractive display item!

Still in the original box (apparently never removed) is a paper doll lady (top only) with a hanky folded like a skirt, she “wears” a ribbon stole, and folded neatly on one side of the box are 5 more hankies!

I’ve collected hankies for many years and this is the only paper doll hanky lady I’ve seen...

Mint condition humorous hanky showing a party animal (elephant) the morning after the party!

He wants to know “Who turned out th’ lights?”, “What wuz in that last one?”, as well as “Wish I wuz dead!”.

Hanky measures 14” x 14” and is in mint condition.

This listing has a state souvenir handkerchief for California!

Hanky measures 13 3/4" x 13 1/4" and has very pretty scalloped edging -- frames beautifully!

It is in excellent condition with bright colors. Lots of detail on this souvenir hanky!

The detail on this kitchen towel is outstanding! It depicts the contents of an old general store in New Harmony Indiana – there’s a pickle barrel, sacks of beans and salt, a barrel of lard, etc.

Towel is a Warren Boucher design and it has never been used – still has the “KayDee handprints” paper label.

It's made of 100% pure linen and measures 30 ½” x 17”.

These napkins are so neat! There’s a set of 6 napkins each with red wine glass and grapes border and centers have sayings such as “He who goes to bed and goes to bed mellow, lives as he ought to, and dies an honest fellow” – all 6 are different.

Beautiful Bates chenille bedspread! Per label, this is “George Washington's Choice”. Bedspread is full size (89” x 110” with 3 1/2" fringe) and is in excellent condition.

For all you collectors of poodle related items, this listing is for you! Listing has a chef poodle kitchen towel, a guest towel with an embroidered poodle, and a poodle apron! The colorful towel shows gray poodles cooking vegetables – this is a “book” piece and can be seen in “Fun Linens & Handkerchiefs of the 20th Century” with a price range of $25-$35. The poodle guest towel (also a book piece) has a hand embroidered fancy gray poodle...

These vintage aprons are lovely – there’s a black and white gingham and a brown and white gingham!

They are decoratively embellished with what is now simply called cross stitch but when originally stitched on gingham it was called “chicken scratch” (before counted cross stitch!).
