You know the glass blocks that are used in construction? This is just like those except it has an oval opening in the top. Made from heavy optical glass, it measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 3 3/4". The inside ribs on front and back are horizontal and the outside ribs are vertical giving it a checkerboard appearance. Could be used as a vase, container or fish bowl. In very good condition with one very tiny fleabite on one edge. There is some roughness from the mold edges.

Here's the face of the Gerber baby on a silver plated, long-handled infant feeding spoon. Spoons like these were made in the 1970's and you could purchase them with Gerber baby food labels and have them engraved with your baby's name. This one is engraved: 'Benjamin 3-14-78' and was to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of Gerber. Back of spoon reads: "Gerber 50 years of caring 1928 - 1978." In very good condition.

White (milk) glass lamp shades are decorated with red and gold hand painted roses and green leaves. Top of shade is ruffled. Overall measurements: 5 3/4" high and 7 3/4 across, (7" fitter). One picture shows shade sitting on the chimney of an oil lamp (without fitter or tripod) to give an idea of how it looks.
Shades are in very good condition. Bottom edge is rough where is was cut from mold.

'Jimmy Juniors' red dress has a full circle skirt with lace curly-cues, fitted heart-shaped yoke at midriff, grosgrain ribbon bows pinned at neckline, short sleeves are gathered down center, seven covered buttons on front, 4 snap closure at waist on left side and single snap at back neck. It comes with 'homemade' slip. Slip is a slightly different color than dress.
Dress does not have a size label...

This vintage 'dressy' dress would look great on the dance floor or at any formal occasion. Made from lightweight lace and nylon with 16 triangular insets around skirt, it floats around you as you move. Lace is a green-gold color with aqua green inserts and trim. Long sleeves, round neckline, 6 covered button back closure, one covered button closure at wrists, sequin detail on sleeves and front bodice. It has a matching slip.
The label says its a size 16 but it might run a little smaller...

Very finely knit from 100% wool, this cream-colored classic french style beret was made by Preston & York in South Africa. When flat, beret measures 11" in diameter with a 6" center hole. Also has the classic beanie nub on top.

McCall's printed pattern # 2429, size 10, bust 31, copyright 1960. Blouse has short sleeves and front-button closing. Apron has front and back bib, gathered waist and front patch pockets. ALSO included in envelope is a pattern for a youth pinafore cap. It looks like a nurse cap and was probably made for a hospital volunteer.
