This is a most enormous trinket box. Made of black glazed ceramic with an unglazed ceramic gypsy moth on the top. This has the butterfly or moth shape and is 4 3/4" tall by 6" x 7 3/4" diameter. Inside is a painted gold color. There are no chips or cracks and is in excellent condition. This was purchased at a nature conservatory so looks very realistic. Wire legs and filament antennae. This is a really unique piece.

No makers mark but is in perfect condition. and nicely made. A great Easter gift to fill with surprizes. Sorry about the glare from the flash.
