These great figurines are made by Star ($tar), Japan. They are made of a lightweight plaster or paper mache, and are hand painted. The girl measures 8 3/4" tall and the boy is smaller. There is a brass insert inside the area where the candle goes on each of them. Nice condition. Sold as a pair.

I realize this is a salad plate from a set of dishes but it's so adorable it needs to be hung in a cheery kitchen. This ceramic goose cookie jar is smaller than the traditional blue goose cookie jar. She is just 11" tall but has a shorter body length. She wears a little light blue polka dot bow around her neck. She has no chips but she does have a crack about 1 1/2" long on her wing area which is hard to see. No makers mark or sticker.She would look great with the Aunt Rhody blue goose accessories.
