In many ways, this is an exemplary item, as it has had scant use, little pattern wear and is pleasantly heavy in the hand. Sadly, as may be seen in our second photo, there has been an erasure from the reverse. However, the spoon is still guaranteed to hold your soup or dessert!

What could you do with them? Well, I for one would be ecstatic if served an appetizer of duck liver paté in a little ramekin with a very elegant silver knife. But then again, I'd probably also be pretty happy to see this even without one...

We have never encountered a spoon with this boat-shaped flat bottom bowl in the past, and have conferred with a Very Knowledgeable Fellow who has owned one (yes, just one) before and is of the opinion that this is indeed a berry spoon.

A delightful bit of Victoriana where function follows form, as each tine is shaped like a tiny cucumber.
These are often found with pairs of chopsticks, but some miscreant seems to have made off with the chopsticks.
