This wonderful oil on canvas sofa size painting is signed by well known New York artist Andrew Stasky 1930-1989. Though this is one of his oil paintings, he did mostly water colors. Corresponding with family, they believe this is one of his early pieces possibly done in his college days in the 1950's, and was thought to once hang in the grandmothers home. This is a beautifully illustrated book of nursery rhymes and stories from Japan. One of the, My Travelship books published by The Book House for Children in Chicago. Translated by Olive Beaupre' Miller and beautifully illustrated by Katherine Sturges. Book was originally printed in 1925 but this one was printed in 1952. 191 pages and every page has a colorful illustration. Excellent condition inside. Tabletops Unlimited Fruit De Blanc saucer. Circa 1995 but now discontinued. Pretty white with raised fruit encircling the rim. These make a pretty table setting with contrasting color dishes and glassware. 6 3/8" wide. No chips or cracks. Great as a replacement piece or a gift for someone who collects Fruit De Blanc dinnerware. I will be listing other pieces in this pattern.I have 5 available, price is for each.

This selection titled " Who Wouldn't Be Jealous Of You?" by Larry Shay, Haven Gillespe,and George Frommel. Poor condition, spine has been taped, rough on edges and a tear on the back. No pages or paper missing though.
