What a treasure – this is a Rex, Fifth Avenue Petti-Purse! It has comb, lipstick holder, and compact – appear to have never been used. Has been monogrammed on little metal plate on front of purse – I believe the initials are S, E, C – the plate has some tarnish from storage. Purse is made of cloth, measures 5 ¾” x 4”. Absolutely super addition to a collection!

This is indeed a find – a compact size evening bag!

It has a snake-chain type handle and opens on each side with one side having a mirror, a comb, a lipstick cylinder, and compact (the lipstick cylinder and compact are empty, never filled).

The other side will hold cigarettes, money, business cards, etc.

It is stamped Made in U.S.A. and based on the interwoven metal styling of the evening bag, I believe this to be an unmarked Dorset Rex production...

This is another lovely beaded evening bag! Inside has label “Made in France, Hand-made”. It’s in wonderful condition with beautiful beadwork. Excellent addition to a collection!

I purchased these at an Indiana estate sale. They are in excellent condition – the bottom of one bottle still has the original Ben Franklin price tag of $1.99.

I believe this fragrance was first introduced in the 1920s.

Another lovely handbag from my collection! This one is black crochet and has clear Lucite handles. Purse measures 14” x 8” and it is in excellent condition.

Super nice military hat powder jar! Per reference books, this was produced by Paden City Glass Company in the 1940s.

It is in wonderful condition with some minor roughness at rim that appears to be production, not dings or damage.

I have pulled all the beaded purses from my vintage purse collection and am listing them. I have enjoyed collecting and admiring them (never used any of them!) and it is now time to share.

This listing has a small shoe shaped coin purse. It measures 4 ¾” long (at longest), 2” wide (at widest), and 1 ¼” tall. Inside has a little round shaped “Made in Japan” blue sticker. Excellent condition!

This listing has a gorgeous coin purse with a beaded floral design on front! The back is also beaded!

Purse measures 3 ¼” diameter and is clean inside and out!

I have always loved this purse! It’s brown material and was made by “Queen Fashion, Made in USA”. Excellent, like new condition both inside and out!

I purchased this hatbox several years ago at a sale in, you guessed it, Evansville, Indiana. Hatbox is made of lightweight cardboard covered with tan color paper...
