THIS LITTLE PURSE IS A DEFINITE HARD-TO-FIND! IT'S A MINIATURE METAL RING MESH BAG WITH A SINGLE CHAIN HANDLE. HAS CLASP TYPE CLOSURE AND IS SILVER COLOR THAT HAS DARKENED WITH AGE. MEASURES 5" LONG FROM CHAIN HANDLE (EXTENDED) TO BOTTOM OF PURSE, THE PURSE MEASURES 2 3/4" X 2". VERY NICE!

Lovely vintage handbag! It's made of black cloth with cloth carry handle and has a lovely shape.

The top has a most decorative ornamentation (on both sides of purse) that appears as though it may have had rhinestones when new but most are now missing.

I purchased this lovely evening bag at an estate sale and it was listed as a “knit bag with beaded flowers” – that was very incorrect! The body and carry strap of this purse are made of navy blue color material and it is covered with beadwork – not knitting! The roses, leaves, and the center navy blue band are obviously beads and what appears to be knitting at first glance is actually more beadwork and it’s beautiful! This listing has a super neat vintage celluloid hanky box that has been a part of my handkerchief collection for some time!

The box is in wonderful condition – it has a small chip on one corner. The interior lining has no holes or rips and appears to be original.

Box measures 5 3/8” x 5 3/8” and is 2 ½” tall.

This lovely hand-held fan is made of wood and paper and is stamped Made in Occupied Japan.

It’s in very good condition – has some small slits that oddly enough, are really only visible if you hold the fan to a light.

Nice item, difficult to find!

This is a gorgeous and very collectible ladies Volupte' compact from the 1940’s!

Compact is gold tone and has a tiny sofa and chair attached to the front.

It is in excellent condition!!

This is another neat compact from the 1940’s! It’s made of ivory color plastic and has in-mold rose spray on lid. One side has a regular mirror with magnifying mirror on inside and rouge with puff. The other side has a mirror and pressed powder (puff and powder are missing) and it has lipstick in the handle. Great collectible!

This listing has a very nice clear glass powder jar titled “Minstrel”!

Jar is in very good vintage condition – it has a couple rough spots (teeny dings) on jar rim and on lid rim – not unusual and undoubtedly caused during use/putting the lid back on the bottom. The back of the instrument has a couple teeny dings.

This is a great addition to a collection.

This is a neat powder jar shaped like a military hat with a mirror on top! I purchased this jar at an Indiana estate sale.

Per reference books, this powder jar was produced in the 1940’s by Paden City Glass Manufacturing Company.

The powder jar is in wonderful condition – it has 3 teeny (1/16”) dings on rim edge (just above front insignia) and a couple more on side – they are all very small.

This is an extra nice vintage handbag from the 1940’s! Handbag is brown reptile, has top closure, the interior is tan color and has a small zippered pocket/compartment on the side.

It measures 5 3/8” tall, 9” long, and 4” wide (at bottom).

A very nice addition to a collection.

Simply exquisite! This listing has a beautiful vintage handmade beaded evening bag. It has interior label “Hand Made in Belgium” and handbag measures 7 ¾” x 4 1/8”.

I purchased this handbag many, many years ago and I believe it was (and is) in the original box. The original owner wrote on the box in pencil “Brought from overseas, Hand-Made in Belgium”. I never used or displayed this beautiful purse...

Beautiful Mandalian Mfg. Co. metal mesh handbag!

As often happened with this type handbag, the metal is heavy and it has a tendency to pull free at the hinged area of the purse frame. I’ve looked at this area and it appears to be repairable – by a professional or someone with a lot of patience, unfortunately, I’m neither. :) There are 3 short (broken) chains in the fringe...

This listing has a lovely vintage Whiting Davis mesh handbag!

It has soft subtle colors in the design (it reminds me of peacock feathers) and is in very good condition with only minor “use” evidence.

There are two small places where fringe has separated from the bottom of the handbag and probably is a simple repair but I would enjoy as is.

The interior lining has a few very small holes – it feels like silk – the few holes are very tiny and not detrimental...

This is an exceptional unmarked metal mesh handbag!

It measures 5 ¼” long (frame to bottom), 2 ¾” wide (mesh), and 3 ¼” at frame.

Handbag is in wonderful condition -- as with many handbags of this type, some of the mesh has come loose at the hinges – that’s it!

This is a classic wood and paper hand-held fan!

The little stars are applied and a few are missing. Each of the two end wood slats/spines has a tight hairline crack at the upper ends. For whatever reason, a prior owner appears to have attempted to place a pin (or tiny nail) into the end slats which caused these cracks. I can see 3 teeny holes by one crack and 1 teeny hole by the other one...

This is a neat item – a button hook with butterscotch color handle! Measures 7” long, handle is ¾” wide (at widest) and it appears to be Bakelite (doesn’t test as Bakelite but looks and feels like it). Super collectible item!

I purchased this neat little bottle of vintage fragrance at an Indiana estate sale!

I’m not certain if this is perfume or cologne but the label shows it was produced by Lynas Perfumers.

There is also no content amount listed but I would guesstimate it to be ½ ounce.

From my extensive research, this was introduced in the 1920s by J.B. Lynas & Sons and it is believed to have been produced in Indiana...
