Catalog: Collector Plates

Not sure what these little miniature plates are all about?? Or, how they were issued. This same company made the large size, numbered limited editions, exactly the same.. except they had the title of plate on the front (These mini plates do not). Not sure what the large one of this was named as I could not find one anywhere. A little girl singing Christmas carols on a snowy eve, with a little dog sitting by her...

Vintage white porcelain plate measures 10.5" in diameter and is embellished with real 24Kt gold decoration. Lavish edge trim and center says "God Bless YOu On YOur Anniversary. Would be appropriate for any number of years someone is celebrating. No chips cracks or repairs. Original Japan sticker and Made by Norcrest Fine China #B-191.

Vintage Holly Hobbie heart shape candy dish or nappy made of porcelain. Sentiment reads: "A Grandmother's Love is a special Treat". Shows Hollie Hobbie casualy roller skating in front of a picket fence. Gold edge trim. Measures 6 3/8" x 5 7/8". Made by American Greetings. 1983. Pristine conditio. Includes the ribbon as shown if you like to hang it.

Limited Edition Fathers Day plate for 1974 by Porsgrunds Norway. Artist Gunnar Bratlie. Pretty cobalt blue delft coloring featuring a girl participating in a wheelbarrow race with her dad. Plate measures 5 1/8" diameter and is in excellent condition with no damages or repairs. Fourth issue in the series. Plate only, no box. A lovely 8" Abigail Adams porcelain plate created for Avon in 1985 from the Peabody Museum collection. Plate is trimed in 22 K gold. Excellent condition. No chips, cracks or crazing. Not for food service.

Pretty hand painted ceramic platter by Fitz & Floyd dated 1993. Relief design and hand painted Subject is Santa and his sleigh & reindeer flying over a sleepy little town. Evergreen edge and says Happy Christmas To All. Measures 8" x 9". Perfect condition.

The back is marked with the usual B&G Copenhagen Denmark stamp and 8000/9371 and the blue artist mark. No defects of any kind. perfect condition. Plate measures 5 7/8" in diameter.

Vintage 1960's souvenir plate or tray of the Richardson Grove Redwood forest in California. Tray measures 10 3/4" and is made of black Lacquer and shows the different points of interest. Mother of the forest tree, father of the forest tree,Camp fire bowl,and the animal tree. Probably made by Kelvin's but no sticker. Very nice condition.

Hand numbered limited edition collector plate from the Bradford Exchange, Zolan's Children collection. This one is titled "For you". Measures 8 1/2" in diameter. Darling 1988 collector plate by Donald Zolan. It is about 7-1/2" in diameter Numbered and of limited edition by Pemberton & Oakes. Titled Mother's Angels.Depicts a sister with her baby brother. It was the first in Zolan's mothers' day series. It is new but without a box or paperwork. No chips, cracks or crazing.

This lovely plate, "Mother's Day", is by the talented artist Jessie Willcox Smith and is the fifth issue in her "Childhood Holiday Memories" series from 1987. It depicts "our best-loved holidays as seen through the eyes and heart of a child." The artist was the most highly admired and paid female illustrator of her day and she created every cover of "Good Housekeeping" magazine from 1918 to 1932. What an amazing talent! This plate is in mint condition but has no box or paperwork...

Nice 200th anniversary Bicentennial calendar plate is full color and has our natios motto, E. Pluribus Unum, with the eagle, crossed flags and shield as the center design.
