Catalog: Collector Plates

This plate is ancient!! No markings for me to make any idenity. Plate measures 10" in diameter. It has a bust of a Victorian girl in the center. On the border it is a pretty lavender luster with repeating laurel wreath patterns in white. On the extreme edge another small gold patterned border. Gold is faded and worn and there are a few scratches on the ladies face. No chips or cracks in the plate. Very pretty!

Premiere edition of the series Noel Vitrail. This plate La Fuite en Egypte (flight into Egypt) looks like stained glass. Measures 8 3/8" in diameter and is in perfect condition. Artist Andre Restieau, and issued by D'Arceau-Limoges. Original box, some paperwork but no COA.

Limited edition porcelain plate (1 year) liscenced by Mattel and issued by Enesco in 1996 for the Happy holidays Barbie series. Portrayed is the 1989 Holiday Barbie in her glittering white gown with faux fur and tulle. Measures 8 1/4" in diameter and is hand numbered with nice gold border. Perfect, pristine condition and comes in the original box with certificate of authenticity.

Made by Delano Studios expressly for S.P. Skinner Co. (Which is or was a nice home furnishings store). This great plate has historical Williamsburg's Raleigh Tavern as the center. Measures 10 1/8" in diameter and is in pristine condition. I will be listing more of these with different historical homes and buildings. Not sure when these were made.

Collectible souvenir plate of Yellowstone National Park. Designed by Vernon Kilns USA Brief history on the back odf the plate, and it measures 10 1/2" in diameter. On the front it shows various attractions of intrest from the park. Old Faithful, Golden Gate canyon, Morning Glory Pool, Yellowstone Falls, A Stage coach, The fishing bridge, and the Northern entrance to the park. Signed by artist Orpha Klinker. Perfect condition.

Beautiful limited edition collectors plate by W.S. George. Hand numbered and was limited to 150 firing days in 1989. This is the second issue in the series called, Purebred Horses of America collection. This plate is the Tennessee Walker by artist donald Schwartz. Measures 8 1/2" in diameter and has real gold edge trim. Excellent condition but there is NO box or paperwork.

Limited Edition Norman Rockwell Plate - by Knowles, Gorham, River Shore and Others: Collectors Club Annual Series Toymaker Rockwell Collectors Club Plate. This is the First Annual Plate for the official Norman Rockwell Collectors Club, an edition limited to 90 days. It is a hand-painted bas relief 3-d plate on bisque porcelain. The depiction is of a toymaker holding a doll, with 2 young girls and a dog watching. Excellent condition--no box (bottom half of box included).

This is a beautiful depiction by Spanish artist Juan Ferrandiz of the devotion between mother and child. It is called Pastoral Mother and Child, and is number 4745 of a limited edition of 10,000 from Schmid. This is the second issue in the series of four plates. The plate measures 9 3/4 inches in diameter and is in perfect condition. I do not have the box or paper work with this plate. The rim of the plate is trimmed in real gold. Dates to 1978.
