Lookds as if it was made in ceramics class. Hand painted and glazed. One very small edge chip on the underside of the lid that has been repainted so not so noticeable (you have to look closely to find it). Not visible with the lid on the jar.

This old heavy cookie jar resembles an old moonshine jug, including the real cork in the top. Says Cookie Jug on the front. This may be a McCoy cookie jar, I'm not sure, but it is an older solid jar. Measures 10" tall. Bottom is in excellent condition, but the top section has a couple of chips on the inner rim of the lid. They can't be seen when the lid is on the jar. This reflects the low price. This was a beautiful cookie jar, and very life like. It appears to be Italian. The pictuer shows the entire cookie jar but only the top is available, if you need to replace yours. (The bottom shown here has been broken) Made of heavy ceramic and is hand painted with a nice heavy glaze over the decoration instead of cold paint. Nice condition. This is a life size rabbit. Big roomy cookie jar looks like an old oak bucket with a lid. Yellow and orange daisies on the front. Cookie jar looks to have been hand made in a ceramics class. Measures 10 1/2" tall, total. Bottom is 8 1/4" in diameter. There are some glaze chips but no regular chips or cracks. The glaze chips could be easily touched up, and then your jar would be perfect!

This funy little Christmas pup has been into the decorations. Not sure if this is Maxines dog or not. He has a gold star over one eye. My friend said this jar was at the Hallmark store. Anyway, it measures just 7 1/2" tall. More of a treat jar size. It has a real jingle bell hanging from the tail of the dog. Pristine condition, and very cute.
