Nice heavy bookends made of white stripe onyx or TRAVERTINE. Most likely made in Mexico. Each is a totem of sorts possibly being Maya, Aztec or some Central American cultural idol. Measures 5 3/4" tall, and are very heavy. Hand carved and polished, in excellent condition.

Awesome amount of illustrations of a little black boy on his journey running away from home.I would consider the overall condition as Very good, not mint.
The book measures approx 7 1/2 by 5 1/2.
