Catalog: Collector Plates

This is a American Greetings Gigi Collectors Plate. I believe McCoy made this series. It Says "Smile the world is a wonderful place". It measures 10.25" in diameter and is in excellent condition, no chips or nicks.

A stamped & signed Holly Hobbie, Collector's Edition, made in Cleveland USA, 1972 for American Greetings Corp. Lovely collectible plate. The image of Holly Hobbie in her famous patchwork pinafore and big blue bonnet is in the centre of the plate. She is holding a few wild flowers. The poem on the plate reads, "Start Each Day in a Happy Way" The border of the plate is soft green in colour. The plate in great condition with no chips, no cracks, no scratches...

1778-1978 James Cook Bicentenary Plate This plate was made to celebrate James Cook's 200th Anniversary.Profile of James cook and theisland of Hawaii, and his ship. Measures 7" in diameter and is in perfect condition.

Large sevice plate or charger measures 10 5/8" and depicts one of the English village scenes they made. Dark green band and hand painted multi color decoration, with floral border and gold accent trim. Made by Wood & Sons England. Perfect condition. This is strikingly similar to the plates made for Princess house but ARE slightly different. I have 2 available in this pattern, price is per plate. I also have one in another similar scene.

This is a beautiful depiction by Spanish artist Juan Ferrandiz of the devotion between mother and child. It is called Pastoral Mother and Child, and is number 4745 of a limited edition of 10,000 from Schmid. This is the second issue in the series of four plates. The plate measures 9 3/4 inches in diameter and is in perfect condition. I do not have the box or paper work with this plate. The rim of the plate is trimmed in real gold. Dates to 1978.

Juan Ferrandiz's "1977 Orchard Mother and Child" Collector Plate. Measuring 9 7/8 inches and having no chips, cracks, or scratches.This is a Limited Edition Plate, NO. 4839 of 10,000 produced by Schmid China West Germany.The plate is trimmed in Gold and will be a great addition to any Plate Collection.There is no box or certificate. I have 2 others from this series listed.

1978 Limited Edition Floral Mother and Child plate by artist Juan Ferrandiz made by Schmid. It is in excellent condition with no chips cracks or repairs. The colors are nice and bright. I do not see any wear. It looks brand new and is very beautiful. It measures a little over 9 ¾” in diameter. This is a great Ferrandiz / Schmid collectible plate. Limited edition, Number 7263 of 10,000 made.I have no box or certificate. I have 2 others to this series I will be listing.

This same company made the large size, numbered limited editions, exactly the same.. except they had the title of plate on the front (These mini plates do not). The large one of this was named "The joy of Christmas" Santa & family around the tree, Marked on Back: Lindner Kueps Bavaria Made in Germany, - Echt Cobalt, Measures 4" diameter. Design: Deep cobalt blue, accented with lustrous gold detailing...

Holly Hobbie Vintage 1974 Christmas Plate Porcelain Commemorative edition. Verse reads: "Sing a song of Christmas Fill our hearts with cheer For all the Worlds's a merry place When Christmas time is here!" Measures 10.5" across, and has a pretty Holly Hobbie and friends center with gold trim. No chips, cracks or flaws detected. Excellent condition!

Vintage souvenir plate is all white with gold decorative scene of the Grand Canyon National Park. Ripple border. Plate measures 9 1/2" diameter and is in perfect condition. 23 K gold decoration and stamped USA.

A very nice vintage plate to celebrate someones 50th wedding anniversary. Decorated with yellow spray of roses and embellished with "50th Anniversary" and gold edge trim. Measures 10 1/8" in diameter and is in perfect condition. Made by Cardee Roseburg Oregon. There is a artist signature on the front but I can't read it. A wonderful gift

Nice vintag souvenir plate with fancy scalloped gold embellished edges. Picture of Abraham Lincoln, Lincolns home and tthe Lincoln tomb. Measures 8 1/4" diameter, and is in perfect condition. Silk hand cord on the back. There is a manufacturers sticker on the back but it is no longer legible.

Limited Edition Mothers Day plate for 1970 by Porsgrunds Norway. Artist Gunnar Bratlie. Pretty cobalt blue delft coloring featuring a boy riding a Mama Horse, and her foal running along side. Plate measures 5 1/8" diameter and is in excellent condition with no damages or repairs. First issue in the series. Plate only, no box. Porsgrund Norway, The Three Wise Men Christmas Plate manufactured by Porsgrund China in Norway circa 1969. This cobalt blue and white limited edition plate measures 7" diameter.
