Nice old oval double lip gravy boat with attached underplate has delicate tiny pink roses with green swags around the edge with gold rim trim. Measures 8 1/2" long. Gold on edge trim is 99% good. No chips or cracks, just excellent!. Number 1224 incised into the mold on the bottom. China marked M&Z,(M stands for Moritz and Z is for Zdekauer) or just MZ Austria, was made by a company called Altrohlau. A wonderful old cake plate with the popular Indian tree pattern. Wonderful old piece with character and charm that is over 100 years of age and in good condition without damage, but has light age crazing which would be typical. Approximate size 8 3/4 inches wide plus the tab handles. Good mark on base. Edge Malkin & CO pressed into mold. Plus it is stamped with a hound and Trademark E & M Co B Indian Tree.
