What a beauty! This lovely Johann Haviland Bavaria Blue Garland Germany Coffee pot is discontinued (1974-1990) and no longer in production in Bavaria. The outside is decorated with lovely blue flowers and trimmed in platinum. This coffee pot is in perfect condition. Beautiful mid 20th Century hand-cut crystal from behind the wall. The East German government owned the Imperlux Company who made this striking, deep ashtray with hand cut, full lead crystal. Upper portion is a smoky amber, and the pedestal part is clear crystal. All of the edges are beveled to prevent chiggers. Thick, heavy 1/2" walls of crystal and thicker in some areas.
