Catalog: Collector Plates

A stamped & signed Holly Hobbie, Collector's Edition, made in Cleveland USA, 1972 for American Greetings Corp. Lovely collectible plate. The image of Holly Hobbie in her the attic looking through a photo album. The poem on the plate reads, "Nothing lasts longer than a happy memory" The border of the plate is soft green in colour. The plate in great condition with no chips, no cracks, no scratches. The colours are nice and vivid and the glaze is shiny. The plate is 10.25 inches in diameter.

This plate is Merry Christmas 197e mauve and white Christmas plate. From the Holiday to You collection by Royal Crownford, designed by Norma Sherman. A little boy and girl amongst stacks of presents each stand helping with a stack of packages. Holly leaf trimmed border. Made in Staffordshire, England. Measures almost 9" in diameter and is in perfect condition.

Limited edition collector plate was limited to members of the Calhoun's Collectors Society in 1979. Plate is from an original painting by artist Dominic John Mingolla. Measures 8 1/2" in diameter, gold trim and hand numbered and signed by the artist. Previous owner has purchased the nice wood frame that nicely enhances the plates beauty, and that is included as a bonus. Comes in the original box with certificate of authenticity. Perfect condition.

Christmas 1973 Collectors Plate Commemorative Edition by Holly Hobbie. "The time to be happy is now. Christmas 1973" printed across the face of the plate. Plate measures 10 1/2 inches across. Plate depicts two "HOLLY HOBBY " Children dancing around a Christmas Tree with Snowflakes in the air and a rabbit watching them as 2 Cardinals land in the tree.

Awesome vintage calendar plate for the year 1974. Each leaf of the calendar month shown with a celestial style sun in the center. All decoration in gold with the exception of the airbrush light green edge. No makers Id. Measures 12 1/4" in diameter. Excellent condition with no chips repair or wear. Nice 10" souvenir pate of the state of Arkansas. Light turquoise border with lots of gold filigree trim. Plate shows 9 various points of interest from the state, featuring Hot Springs National Park. Colorful transfers of scenery. Perfect condition with no damages. No makers mark on the back.

A Special Edition collectors plate that is hand numbered. Issued by the American Treasury. Plate made of white porcelain with gold trim. Measures 10 1/4" in diameter. Has the declaration of Independence wrote on the front, a circular picture of the signing, and all signatures at the bottom. Perfect condition. Not sure exactly when this plate was issued.
