Pair of chalk african man & woman busts. These are a matched set. I'm not sure of the age, but most likely 40+ years of age. They are solid cast, with nice weight. They measure about 9 1/4" tall. Nicely sculpted to appear life like. Good condition with the exception of a few chips on the bottom.( These are not noticeable when sitting on the table. Nice example of African art. Email for more photos.
This is an awesome handpainted piece of pottery. It measures 7 1/4" diameter, and is signed on the back by the artist. I have included a photo of the signature though I cannot make it out. It is Australian, I believe. It depicts the profile of a warriers face, spears, and distant trees which appears to be the outback. There is crazing in the glaze. No damages, chips, or cracks. Such a wonderful item! Not sure of the age. I have personally had it 15+ years, and aquired it at a tag sale.
Old hand carved tribal art pieces made of wood and embellished with beads. Figures measures 12 1/2" tall and are in great condition with the exception of the stick is missing that was in the man's hand. The clothing they are wearing appears to be decorated with natural dyes. No cracks or splits or chips missing. Wood is of a medium weight. No signatures or marks that I can see. No idea how old these actually are, but they are old. E mail me if you would like to see a closeup of the tunic design...

Extremely rare bakelite pin is a cross over collectible. It is a clown, but has a black face. Eyes are moveable. Measures 3 1/4" tall. Very nice condition. Gotta love that applesauce coloring. He is truely a find, I have had him for over 40 years and had got him at a flea market when my parents vended in San Jose. I have never seen another, nor has anyone else I know. He was old and special then, but not sure exactly of his decade made. Now it is time for someone else to enjoy him...

I would believe these were quite rare shakers. Made Of heavy pottery, Shawnee I believe. I have had several identical sets over the years but the black faces and hands were very dark. These are the exact mold and features and measure 5" tall, with the exception that the skin is lighter. They are very old and one has the original cork inside. Perfect condition. Would make an excellent addition to your Black Americana collection.
