Meito hand painted footed shallow compote. The brilliant sunset or sunrise scene is gorgeous with a misty rosy orange sky above the placid lake. It is finely painted with graduated colors fading to the light yellow sky at the top and blue water at the bottom. A wonderful old hand painted serving dish. Hand painted glazed china with lots of gold trim and embellishments. Measures 6" in diameter.Small handle at the top for serving. Red sun mark on the back, RS, made in Japan. IT is in perfect condition and all gold is nice and bright
Lovely scalloped ornate bowls with the geisha girl pattern. The bowls have a scene of three geishas with large pink roses, cobalt blue trim and lots of gold accents. Bowls measure 5 1/2" in diameter and are 1 3/4" deep. No chips or cracks. Price is for each.
Pretty little nappy dish with one reticulated tab handle. One large pink open rose with bud and leaves, and a smaller pink bud on the other side. Gold edge trim. measures 6 1/4" in diameter and is 1 1/2" deep. it has the old green M with wreath mark. Very nice condition with no wear. On the bottom there is a tiny indent which looks like a small chip but I'm sure is a flaw in the original mold. Request picture if needed It is extremely small and not noticeable.
THis is a wonderful vintage set. The ink markings are so smeared it looks like it says hand painted japan with little floral logo and mountain backstamp. Hand painted with lots of gold embellishment in relief and beading. little tray measures4 7/8", salt and pepper set are 2 1/8" tall (no corks),and the little mustard pot is3" tall with the lid on. Gold is worn on the knob of the lid. Everything else is bright and pristine...

Beautiful old porcelain bedside tumble up set. Complete with the carafe and matching tumbler that inverts over the top of the carafe. Beautiful rich blue lustre with orange/red roses that are in relief with leaves . Old red Sun mark on the bottom that is barely legible.It says hand painted and I can see the n, so its either Nippon or Japan. No chips cracks or repairs. Appears like paint is worn on the edges of the petals but, others think it was painted this way intentionally...
