Homer Laughlin 9 1/4 inch diameter mauve blue luncheon plate. Some regard this as a small dinner plate. It was made by the Homer Laughlin Company, maker of Fiesta, in the 1940s and distributed by Woolworth. Lovely oval vegetable serving bowl in the OLD WILLOW pattern manufactured by Swinnertons in Staffordshire, England, 1950's era. This pattern features the traditional blue willow design with geometric rim and scene in the center. This oval bowl measures 7" x 9 1/4" in diameter, and is 1 7/8" deep. A beautiful vintage two piece porcelain teabag strainer & reservoir cup by NORCREST. Prety little sprays of flowers on each piece with gold embellishment and edge trim. The set measures, with the two pieces combined, 1 1/2 x 3 3/4 x 4 7/8 inches, height x width x width including the handle.
The piece is bottom manufacturer marked NT 1093-C.
The set is free of chips, cracks, repairs, or stains. The gold tone rim on the strainer is nice with no wear.

Meito hand painted footed shallow compote. The brilliant sunset or sunrise scene is gorgeous with a misty rosy orange sky above the placid lake. It is finely painted with graduated colors fading to the light yellow sky at the top and blue water at the bottom. The famous tree has a nice form with its swaying trunk, and is layered in many shades of green. A grassy meadow, trees and bushes form the middle ground. It measures 8 5/8 inches in diameter...
Made of fine bone china in England by Royal Albert. THis is from the Chateau series. There were 6 or 8 colors in this pattern. This is the pretty mulberry purple color with grapes. The city is Rouen. Both pieces are in excellent condition, free of any flaws. Pretty gold accent trim on cup and saucer and inside of cup has the grape pattern also.
