Two ounce Vollrath Stainless marked as 18-8 Japan 46713. I am calling it a sauce dish, but I'm not sure of the official use. Years ago, I can remember being served cocktail and tartar sauce in something similar at seafood restaurants. I used them when my children were small for catsup (my son loved catsup and would actually turn the bottle up and drink it straight from the bottle when my back was turned - this was a portion control mechanism). There are no dents or discoloration - a few... Click for details

ISLAND NATIVES VINTAGE SHAKER SET
Kitchen : Salt and Pepper Shakers

Lin's Antiques and Collectibles
M2434   $48.00

click for details
This is a neat shaker set! Shakers are a Japan production -- the standing shaker is the salt and measures 3 ¾” tall, sitting shaker is the pepper and measures 3 1/8” tall.

They are in wonderful condition – the salt has a tiny chip on a pinkie finger and the pepper has a (tiny) chipped big toe – both have been color touched-up by prior owner and are not visibly noticeable but can be felt.

This is a nice shaker set, very collectible, and a difficult find!

EVENING BAG / COMPACT, LIPSTICK, MIRROR, ETC
Women's Vanity

Lin's Antiques and Collectibles
M2429   $125.00

This is indeed a find – a compact size evening bag! It has a snake-chain type handle and opens on each side with one side having a mirror, a comb, a lipstick cylinder, and compact (the lipstick cylinder and compact are empty, never filled). The other side will hold cigarettes, money, business cards, etc. It is stamped Made in U.S.A. and based on the interwoven metal styling of the evening bag, I believe this to be a Dorset Rex production. Excellent addition to a collection!
