The broad fiddle-shaped handle on this 6 5/8" long, solid feeling 1.0 T. oz., coin silver spoon was characteristic of mid 19th century Ohio River silver design, and was embraced by Cincinnati's Duhme & Co. for its "No. 1" pattern, issued in 1869.

There were several variants, each having a different tip at the handle end. Some versions had twist stems and others plain ones. This piece has a plain handle shank and small "knob" at the end.

A multi-motif figural design, "Fontainebleau" was introduced by Gorham in 1880.

This piece is a 6 1/4" long, .9 T. oz., sugar spoon.

It has an elongated, plum-shaped bowl with hatched edge shoulders. The interior has a satin finish and is engraved with a fern like leaf design in the heel and with wriggle work edging.

The handle portrays a maiden in courtly garb, carrying a kettle in one hand and a pitcher and saucer in the other.

Offered is a good Southern coin silver fiddlethread pattern fork by Hayden, Brother & Co., working in Charleston, SC circa 1852-55. This piece has a legible maker's mark and a period engraved script monogram to the reverse. This piece measures a little under 7 inches in length and weighs a good 47 grams. Condition is good overall, with modest tine wear but no dents, splits or repairs. All in all a nice Charleston coin silver fork!

Offered is a nice heavy American coin silver table fork in the fiddle thread pattern by Gale & Hayden of New York, circa 1845-50 or so. This piece measures about 7 5/8 inches in length and weighs a heavy 64 grams. This table fork has a legible maker's mark and a period gothic monogram to the reverse. This piece is in good condition overall, with moderate tine wear but no dents, splits or repairs. All in all a fine and useful piece in a perennially popular pattern!

This piece bears a period engraved script monogram and a clear maker's mark, along with the "four balls" mark used by McMullin on some of his pieces for a period of time. Celluloid Santa Clause rattle with Santa holding basket. A doll sticking out of Santa's sack. Has maker's mark on back. In very goo use condition, there is a tiny dent to nose and a little paint loss to red outfit and black boots. Measures 5.25" long Dating circa 1930's, this is a great piece for the collector.

Solid silver, this rare form asparagus server measures 9" long and weighing a substantial 3.6 T. oz.

Marked "Shreve & Co.," for the San Francisco firm known for its Arts & Crafts style silver, as this exemplifies, "Sterling," and "Pat. Jan. 5, 1909.," the pattern is "Norman." It was offered in a plain version and with a hammered surface, as on this.

The flat blade with a curved heel measure 3 1/4" by 3 1/2", has five tines, and an extensively pierced surface.

This 5 5/8" long, just under .9 T. oz., sugar spoon is distinguished by two outstanding features.

One, it has a highly embellished, gold-washed, bowl that is embossed in a stylized acanthus leaf motif.

Two, it is engraved "Baraboo" on the handle reverse, along with an Old English "B" on the front, and thus was a souvenir or memento of that Wisconsin city which was the home of the Ringling Brothers Circus.

This is a really pretty Milk Glass white 5 inch high Bell made by Westmoreland Glass. This Bell features the hand painted Christmas Holly design with red trim. The Bell is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The clapper is attached in the bell. The hand painted Holly decoration is all very good. This circa 1900 set includes a relatively large, 2 1/4" tall, 4" diameter, just under 3.5 T. oz., bowl, with a matching creamer with a subtle lip, that is the same 2 1/4" high to the rim, 2 3/4" to the top of the handle, 3 1/4" in diameter, and weighs 2.8 T. oz.

The style is a blend of Aesthetic and Art Nouveau tastes.

This 1" high, 1 3/4" in diameter, relatively weighty at .9 T. oz., American Victorian period napkin ring is marked "Sterling" and with model number "65."

It has a plain band body with top and bottom applied rims with knurled surfaces.

The otherwise plain surface is bright cut engraved in a leafy spray design with a central reserve which in this instance is engraved with a script letter "W.S.P." monogram.

Stamped "Tilden-Thurber" for Providence, Rhode Island's premier 19th and 20th century fine goods retail house, and "Sterling," this (baby) food pusher measures 3 3/8" long and weighs just over .6 T. oz.

The topside of the slightly curved handle is a rounded "Antique," with the underside an "Oval Thread" that is quite similar to Gorham's "Old French" pattern.

It is engraved "Beverly" in script, set sideways on the upper surface of the handle.
