A 6" long, just under .9 T. oz., piece, this fork was made by Syracuse, New York's Joseph Seymour while in partnership with his son during the years 1870-79, and is accordingly marked "J.S.&S.," along with "Coin" and "Patd. 1877."

This date overlays with the Renaissance Revival or Moresque period of silver design, and the pattern on this, "Duchess," falls broadly within those related styles.

The handle has a pediment top with square shoulders and an overall leafy design on the upper end... Click for details

FosCoinCryst   $85.00

Fostoria Crystal Coin Wedding Jar, or covered Wedding Bowl -- your choice. This is quite hard to find in Crystal with the Gold guilding. I'm honest, some of the gold is worn away, but not badly. Most of the worn away gold can be seen on the cover -- look closely at the photo. The coins on the bowl itself are very good. Bowl stands 8.5" tall with no scratchings, chips or scrapes on the glass itself. Made in the early 1960's.
