Offered is a very interesting American coin silver teaspoon made by James Watts of Philadelphia, specifically in a British fiddle pattern, with associated weight and proportions, as well as a little-seen lion pseudo-hallmark that appears to denote the piece was made to the sterling standard.

This teaspoon has a mark very similar to one given in standard references for Etienne-Henri Sanoner (see last picture), and it is likely the mark on this spoon was also his.
