Generally attributed to Michael Gibney, the patent for this 1862 eponymously named pattern was apparently issued to Francis H. Gibney. In either case, it has long been identified as a Whiting design. This matched 6 5/16" long, .9 T. oz., youth knife and 6" long, .8 T. oz., spoon are coin silver and may predate the Whiting association (later production was made to a sterling standard). Set of 3 elephant figurines.Mama elephant with her 2 babies.These are speckled gold with black detailing and pink inner ears and mouth.Mid Century Modern, Made in Japan.There are loops on all 3 elephants to attach chain. The chain is present on one of the babies, but missing on the other. The mama elephant measures 6" X 6"
The baby elephants measure 2.5" X 3" Perfect condition with no damages or repairs.

Ceramic Dancing Deco Lady figurine~ Very Good Condition. One has some crazing though.
This is a very lovely lady with a sweeping, skirt. Made of hand-painted, glazed ceramic. It stands 7 18"" high.
Circa 1940s, it is in very good condition and without chips or cracks. There is age-related crazing, which is not uncommon for vintage pottery. I have 2 and price is for each. I will send the best one first.

Offered is an estate-fresh large pair of 10" turned brass push-up candlesticks, probably circa 1825-50, and so a bit earlier than the typical beehive style brass candlesticks of the 19th century. These are not cleaned up and have a pleasing patina and overall presentation. They are a bit more squat and massive than later candlesticks, and have rectangular bases. This lovely canister or apothecary jar made by Bombay, and is so striking. Made of heavy dark amber/brown glass with a freshness seal on the lid to make it airtight. Jar is 5 1/2" plus the lid that is 5" tall... so the entire jar from rooster comb to bottom is 10 1/2" tall. The bottom is 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". Large and roomy.
